It's possible, although probably not likely, that both Landis and the examiners are telling the truth. Would it be possible to slip a testable dose of doping orally, (as in perhaps a beverage)? Does anyone here know enough about the testing technology to know if this is a possibility? Surely there are those who would benefit financially by Landis being disqualified, either his rivals or even his teammates. Or perhaps even a clandestine gambling syndicate with the ability to bribe someone close to him.
