Gotta love those crooks and criminals running our country. Shrewdest bastards yet. Not only in charge of Congress, the military, our people, our Constitution but can cover it's ass esentially everywhere by a stroke of a pen. And to think 50% of Americans voted this creep and his cronies in.
The reason it can't be investigated, (the missing monies, the money laundering, etc)...is because Bush takes all the rules that Congress makes, stacks hundreds of them on a desk and then pisses on them, and then issues his own "signing statements" virtually declaring all other invalid.
Here's one that's perfect:
>"The Inspector General shall refrain from initiating, carrying out, or completing an audit or investigation, or from issuing a subpoena, which requires access to sensitive operation plans,.... ongoing criminal investigations.... or other matters the disclosure of which would constitute a serious threat to national security. "
There it is in black and white!
No investigations.
None. Nada. It's a done deal.
"National Security" is just a catch-all phrase that allows these crooks to continue their international drug and arms trades with impunity, and for them to shoot down, or bomb the crap out of their drug-dealing, arms dealing rivals.
Think nu-clear.
Think Pakistan.
