The end of the democratic party has arrived.

If one could can righteousness, rhetoric based upon media indoctrination, hate, vindictiveness, frustration, and sell all these for fifty bucks a can, everyone on the left, who has responded to the thread below, would soon be millionaires.

The 'far' left in the democratic party has historically and statistically been synonymous with people who are disadvantaged and less educated. Its resurgence over the democratic party is a combined result of our continuing border porousness, importing and regenerating over the years as 'US citizens' the poor & illiterate, and the low-wage educational system that's been dominated by leftists for half a century who now can't teach kids barely anything more than their own hate and agenda-driven content.

Yesterday, I was made aware of a 14 year old student, locally, who shouted out against the flag during the pledge of allegiance during a school orientation assembly. While allegiance to the flag certainly is not necessary, the disruption and vehemence it illustrates, shows me the very bad position the democrats have placed themselves in. It was rude, disruptive and illustrated the left's contempt of others that unifies those who identify themselves as democrats. The kid, unintentionally, just alienated other democrats and strengthened any former democrats allegiance to their new home in the republican party.

Yep...good ol fashioned hatred mixed liberally with stupidity is the curse of the 'far' left.

That the child was parroting their parents rants and raving was obvious, that the child mimics their hate in public at such an early age is tragic and the mark of the liberal demon.

In the fictional Harry Potter stories, Harry is scarred with a lightning bolt on his forehead where the evil Valdemort blasted him and tried to kill him. Today's students are scarred and have a big L on their forehead where their liberal teachers have exposed them to massive doses of leftist hate. These kids see the evil in and hate in their teachers and far left classmates and are all going to run - not walk- to embrace conservative ideals and like Harry Potter will silently wage war against the far left and their apparent unchecked hatred.

What's left of the democratic party has now polarized itself to become the mirror image of a redneck homosexual hater or an anti-abortion protester.

Many here believe the democrats have shifted in their views and become more far left than ever before. This is mistaken. What's really happened is the right has grown ever larger and is now composed of many former middle-of the-road and right-leaning democrats who realize the war on terror is necessary and who are disgusted by the selling out and disrespect of their country by folks who just want to be back in power at any price. The HZ is 75% far left and 20% centrists. Not ironically the centrists here are lambasted by the far left as 'neocons' and religious right stooges.

This alienation of potential allies is evidence of the democratic party fracture. How else did the GOP gain control of both parts of congress? How did Bush get re-elected after the juggernaut of anti-war, anti-Bush media articles and even a bogus Michael Moore anti-Bush "documentary" running in theatres? Because after all that hate and propaganda, all that is 'left' of the left is now the far left. Everyone in the center has left the room to leave them spitting at the American flag, GWB, the war on terror, and to furiously debate amongst themselves just which government agency flew the planes into the WTC and whether GWB is a clone from the Andromeda system or Barbara Bush's bastard with King Saud.

GWB is certainly no genius, but his presidency and the events of 9-11-2001 have done more to unravel the democratic party than the 8 years of the Reagan Revolution could ever dream of doing. Why? Because too much of the left has succumbed to unexpurgated hatred. Only some other angry drunks can stand to be around an angry drunk - and that's all thats left of the democratic party a bunch of fanatics who talk like angry drunks.

When I heard democrats say in 2004 that there would be no democrat party if Bush won re-election , I thought they were mistaken and exaggerating. Discarding Joe Lieberman for a local city council level, money-grubbing pirahna who espouses the new liberal anti-war hate mantra is a sign the democrat party really did die in 2004.

Which is really tragic.

Because it means we centrists in the GOP will have our work cut out for us to pull back the religious far right who will be emboldened by the democratic party's unraveling. Extrapolated further, the religious right will likely take over the GOP party and lose the centrists and left-leaners. Which means the independent party will grow in size after 2008. The only silver lining of the democratic party fracture is that, after 2010, we will probably have the long awaited option of 3 viable party candidates for office.
