SG-1 got a new lease on life with the introduction of some new regulars. It's often clever and sometimes quite funny. I've read that it's the longest-running science fiction series ever. Guess they're doing something right.
As an aside, a old buddy of mine who was seduced by the Dark Side of the Force (aka the entertainment industry) directed an episode of Stargate Atlantis a while back and I thought did a wonderful job (I may be a little biased). He and the episode will remain here unnamed just in case any of you guys have a different opinion of it :-)
Now Battlestar...*that's* a consistenty great show! My buddy's trying to get a gig directing it too, but I'd suspect there's a long list of candidates for a limited number of epsiodes.
