I am curious as to your opinions on the state of political debate and discourse in the USA. We have a pretty good idea of your personal opinions, and some of us support your views while others disagree. Others, take a more intermediate position. But I would like to know how Europeans in general perceive the level and quality of political debate in the United States (as opposed to European opinons on American government policy). You are particularly well qualified to offer an informed opinion since you speak good English and have had an opportunity to monitor the Zone for a while, so you should be able to provide an interesting perspective on how others see us, and to contrast it with your own observations. You also have a familiarity with American culture other Europeans may lack.
