Some of my favorites:

When the arctic exploreres in "The Thing" locate the spacecraft frozen in the ice by forming a huge circle around it.

The shuttle docking with the Space Station (to the "Blue Danube") in 2001.

Fletcher Christian's (Mel Gibson) and Capt. Bligh's (Tony Hopkins) mutinous deckside confrontation on the Bounty.

Fred and Ginger dancing. Anytime ,anyplace.

Captain Queeg's ball bearing court-martial speech in "Caine Mutiny"

Jack Nicholson's profane outbursts in a roadside diner ("Five Easy Pieces"), a tavern, ("The Last Detail") and a courtroom ("A Few Good Men").

I gotta go now. More will follow later.
