The person who leaked Plame's name to the press was a State Department official who was against the war. Novak got Plame's maiden name from "Who's Who."

There was no conspiracy, no administration vendetta, or anything else, other than what Wilson and eager leftists imagined in their own minds, or deliberately sold to an even more eager press.

Toward the end, the imminent indictment of Rove was declared to be a certainty, supposedly according to many reliable sources.

Fitzgerald, members of the State Department, and many in the mainstream media, KNEW it was Armitage a long time ago, yet let the speculation and attacks go full bore. That's a whole different subject.

The entire thing was a load of crap, and even the Washington Post has to admit it. We're still waiting to see what the New York Times has to say.
