Clearly nothing he has done has "worked". That's a given. The puppet government is only propped up by foreign troops, would be gone in an instant if there were fewer of them.
And, Bush is talking about withdrawing some, clearly election-time rhetoric. But he's not going to double or triple the numbers. In the first place, he hasn't got 'em. And the Pentagon is recognizing a civil war when it's in the middle of one - oh, happy days.
So, a $1 trillion later, lotsa dead, maimed and tortured, just what is the plan?
"Democracy"? Yer kidding. Baghdad is in turmoil, even with all manner of foreign troops and curfews. And getting worse, by all standards. And that's the capital of the country. And that's out of control, still.
If Bush's methods could have accomplished anything positive, they would have already. Remember "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"?
So what's the plan, given that it's a complete failure up to now, and trying what doesn't work harder is folly?
And don't say it's up to the Democrats to get the toothpaste back in the tube. Bush has been given everything he asked for and owes it to the American people to be able to articulate a viable plan.
Arf (Patience, pie in the sky, bye and bye, Bow. That's it, isn't it. Well, don't worry, they don't have one, can't answer this logically.)
If it doesn't work, try it harder!!?? What is Bush's plan for Iraq? Afghanistan?
