That was a good one.
I was on leave from Panama, buying my girl's engagement ring. A quarter caret stone with blue saphires on either side, mounted on a gold band. She was dark complected, and gold looked beautiful on her.
My leave was over, and Port Columbus International shut down, right after my flight left for sunshine and beaches.
I remember that storm well, but not as well as those who had to stay in cold Ohio.
