Old Life Mag. Apollo cover
I was flipping through a bunch of old Apollo pictures this morning and noticed this one. I had looked at it many times before and I just noticed that the picture depict 3 Saturn 5 launch pads. This is of course an artist’s conceptual drawing, and the date is September 25th, 1964. Perhaps the original plan was to build 3 pads and was cut back to 2. Just an interesting note.
