Some vituperation on current events....

I stumbled across this UK peace advocating action against IRAN.

Time to Act Against Iran

The problem is money.

France, Russia, China and Germany are up to their eyeballs in long term business ventures in Iran. To middle-easterners, Europeans are collectively viewed as 'whores'. Unfortunately their many experiences with european businessmen, politicians and companies has shown them how they prostitute and compromises their supposed public 'ideals' at the first flash of cash behind the scenes.

So the Iranian president will hold his ground and knows that the rest of the world is a prostitute and that the US global mess-cleaners can't be everywhere at once.

Leftists are naturallly a big problem. Even moreso than righties, which are already corrupt, the lefty has almost no morals whatsoever and DOES sell out on the drop of a hat for their personal COMFORT or for FREEBIES.

We can see on this board how many have the bluster and gall to wish Iraqi folks were still living under Saddam just to spite the right. The bottom line is IRAQIS ARE FREE!

They hate Iraq? They can MOVE! Under Saddam they were ALL prisoners. But this is conveniently overlooked. Naturally the smartest, swiftest and most linguistically developed bailed out of Iraq immediately - just as dissidents did when East Germany and the USSR collapsed. Most smart, non-violent, non-fundamentalist Iraqis are not living in Iraq anymore! They are SAFE & FREE living in other nations! Read between the lines of this negatively slanted piece by the Washington Post and you'll be able to extract some great news.

100 Iraqis per day leave Iraq for just for Amman JORDAN. Extrapolated we can figure 1000-2000 leave every day for parts all over. That's 'Mexico undocumented immigration level' here folks!

Iraq is not only FREE it is conquering by attrition the surrounding nations and the people who are leaving WANT FREEDOM AND A GOOD LIFE.

Iraq, despite the thousands and thousands of deaths and violence, will after all the dust settles be a PROPONENT for PROGRESS in the middle east. Progress is the one thing that has so sorely been needed. The US intervention has changed history for the middle east. Often tens of thousands die so that millions more can live free and reshape the entire cultural status quo. The renaissance, the US Civil War all are examples of bloodletting for noble ends which in turn paid BIG dividends.

No one talks about that much. Not the media, not the lefties...heck even the righties fail to mention the biggest change of all for former Iraqis - they are FREE to LEAVE!!!

Some folks can't get past their own sense of impotence. They see a person like Bush, they use him as a mirror for their failings and despise him for things that are in themselves.

Bush is corrupt....or so say the EU lefties who had Saddam and now the Iranian President, standing behind them with his hands in their pants, stuffing rolls of cash in their pockets.

Bush is an idiot...or so say folks who can barely put together an intelligent missive and regularly shower the world with a horn of plenty that spills a plethora of mantras filled with spittle and bile.

Bush is destroying the world...or so say the nations who over the past 200 years have made a living hell of the world for their people.

Yes, there will be the lefties crying out in favor of the Iranian government. There will be the far left crowd here who will support Iran and their 'sovereignity'. There will be no decisive action from the UN which is more impotent than a 106 year old eunuch. And then all eyes will be on the US. The righties will clamor for action, but no one will know just how deep the rest of the world wants the hardline regime to remain in power! If the US acts it will be demonized by EU corporate interests immediately and their propaganda machine will get to work via puppets like Amnesty International.

Will Bush DARE to mess up lucrative EU, Chinese & Russian business transactions by pushing tough sanctions? Will EU corporate coffers run dry as their Iranian blood money slows to a crawl? As we speak EU corporate 'whores' are finalizing as many under the table deals with Iran as they can and pledging their "fidelity" to Iranian 'nuclear self-determination.' EU businessmen are as faithful to their benefactors as a 'harem princess' is to her owner/master'

Naturally Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will have Saddam Hussein syndrome all over again.

Mr. Ahmadinejad has just expelled liberal educators from the universities in Iran.

As Mahmoud Ahmadinejad puts it "more purging is needed."

Sadly, the world is a messed up place.

On one end of the spectrum we have 'civilized' nations which are becoming increasingly a bunch of mental lightweights who watch LOST or other time/mind pacifier type TV shows religiously till they weigh 300 pounds and can't climb out of thier couch/bed/chair and whose women wear skimpy clothing, no matter their age, that shows maximum flesh because they are simply sex objects.

On the other end we have 'uncivilized' folks who can't read, write or watch television at all and who spend their time chanting mind pacifying verses and prayers religiously and whose women must cover their entire body, no matter their age, or face punishment because they are simply sex objects.

Diametrically opposed and yet in many ways THE SAME.

This is why we see so little progress around the world for CULTURE. The west is sinking. It is fast becoming a cultural and intellectual desert far more dry than the Sahara or Death Valley.

If the west keeps sinking and adopting and being overwritten by the cultural cues from the south and the east - what will happen to civilization? Already the grafitti is on the walls.

We have no statesmen any more - only politicians.

We have no philosophers - only agenda-driven ideosophists.

We have an internet which both celebrates & laughs at words by making them all temporal.

Literacy is up yet reading is in serious decline.

All this, and much more, spells out the end for western culture as it existed and as a proponent for intelligent progress. that was, by example, molding the rest of the world to a more intelligent model.

Getting upset about it doesn't help much.

One has to assume the unemotional detachment of a historian who sees history pass and the cycle of rise & decline continue with nary a tear for the greatness that is passing out from the world. Only this way can one not get caught up in the riptide that accompanies the washing away of western civilization.

Excuse me my verbosity. Well, not really. Forcing people to read long posts is me doing my bit for literacy/reading.
