I think I finally figured it out.
You know when you are lied to, and then things after that get a little hazy; you know....the dodged questions, answers that don't add up....you start to become SUSPICIOUS (and rightly so).
You start imagining things that aren't there, but COULD be; simply because the "truth" with these people is so elusive.
Sorta like Bill's "I never had sex with that woman".....and then there's that whole business of "Iraq has WMD's, Sadam's in bed with Al Queda". You get my drift.
Then comes, well, DEFINE "sex," you know, cause he's up on trial for uh....err....lying. Then there's GWB who admits there were no WMD's (remember the guffaw, just like Clinton......looking under his desk "gee, there's no WMD's under here..." What a SCREAM. I mean. REALLY funny. Something you can laugh about for years.
BUT WHERE'S THE ACCOUNTABILITY?
If you've ever been snookered, by a co-worker, lover, lawyer or used car salesman, usually (yeah usually) you start wearing a tin foil hat.
Of some sort. At least yer not gullible enough to be a True Believer.
