I can't find the link just now, but I read a wag yesterday who pointed out that with China's huge monetary surplus (over a trillion dollars and growing fast) needing some way to be spent, China should simply BUY India, thereby alleviating any political strains.
Now THAT'S money laundering!
On a vaguely related note, India now has as many diabetics as Canada has people. This upsurge seems largely related to increasing prosperity among significant portions of India's population.
