It's absolutely amazing how far these folks have come!
Easier, faster measurments, data storage and processing and the computer have gone together to completely revolutionize maps just in my lifetime.
And, as important, to distribute them. There used to be some pretty good maps which just weren't available to the average schmuck because they were too hard to duplicate.
