Driver killed in flying car crash
Why is this not on space?
Well, despite the attractive sounding title, it was a conventional car and only "flew" momentarily. But the headline got my attention!
Story here The driver, Vincent Pontillo, 43, of Mount Sinai, was wearing a seatbelt and was found dead in the 2004 Honda Accord, Suffolk County police said. He car was heading down a street yesterday morning when it reached a dead end, hitting the 1.2 metre dirt hill and launching through the air. The car penetrated the building up to its rear bumper, said police spokesman William Fairchild. Police do not suspect Pontillo had been drinking.
