First, he has to be stupid to not see he's about the biggest terrorist in the world. "Preemptive" aggression, indeed.
A religious nutcase who happens to have been appointed and then elected by voting machines. He's getting wierder.
Bush tells group he sees a ‘Third Awakening’. President also depicts terror war as ‘confrontation between good and evil’.
"The First Great Awakening refers to a wave of Christian fervor in the American colonies from about 1730 to 1760, while the Second Great Awakening is generally believed to have occurred from 1800 to 1830."
The "Third Great Awakening" is noted by Bush's Crusades, I'm sure, though they deny that. Islamic fascists, encouraging Israeli aggressions, supplying cluster bombs for the destruction of entire villages, preemptive invasion of Iraq, God encouraging him - that's a Crusade.
Second, he's just plain stupid.
"Why Bush’s historical analogies don’t always hold up."
"It is wonderful that Bush reads as much as he does. It is unfortunate that there is not more evidence of him probing his national-security advisers to carefully think through the issues of postwar Iraq."
Arf (Hey, Bow, you don't think John Wayne was a philosopher? Makes ya sick, doesn't it??!!)
Bush. Dumb as two sticks. This guy has no insight, cause there's nothing in there to see.
