The Monkey King
Watched this last night on the scifi channel.
It was ordinary to bad in almost every way but it was fascinating from the standpoint of obviously being a Chinese government approved production.
China was portrayed (displaying lots of handsome public monuments of Mao), as democratic, progressive, high tech, and above all profit motivated. Entrepreneurial spirit was cast in a very favorable light.
