An interesting thing, these razorbacks. Sharp protruding features along "channels." But what causes them?
On theory says "water, for sure!" IE, a hard dense material filled grooves and cracks along channels, solidified, and the less dense orsofter soil around it was worn away preferentially.
Water?

However, the lack of actual water found thusfar on Mars makes this a bit tough to substantiate.
Water? Heh, doubt it...

Water, nope, probably not.

Static electricity? Hmm, maybe... Getting warmer. At least now they're
getting into the realm of electricity... Has some short video clips, if
you've got broadband.

Abstract on triboelectric charging. Hmm, I wonder if any OTHER kind of
charging might also cause this structure... Aside from simply static collection of moving grains.

And a rather beautiful final link (rather a link to a section of a previous link). This is pretty, and shows electrical "cratering" and "channeling" in a triboelectrically charged flow. Even has video of it forming. Quite pretty.

Hmm... Interesting. But, what does it all MEAN Basil? Indeterminate. However, one might note that the Electric Universe model does note that electricity can and DOES create circular cratering, crater chaining, channels, etc. This is just a real-world example on a small scale, and specifically related to triboelectrical charging. It has also been shown that electrical processes form concretions (spherules). Blueberries anyone? But we don't see those ANYWHERE on Mars. [/Sarcasm] Or wait, don't we see those EVERYWHERE on Mars?
Anyway, take it for what you will. However it's now been demostrated that electrical charging can cause cratering and channeling in triboelectric flows. We know from the lab that electrical discharge machining is used to create spherical craters by machining the material out of the surface via arcs. How much longer can we ignore electrical effects on Mars. And once we realize it on Mars, how long before we realize it on other planets and moons?
I'm done. Discuss as you will. :) Fluid dynamics and problems therewith (channels that sometimes appear to flow over-hill-and-dale, or cross through other channels at right angles, etc. etc.) versus demonstrable electrical patterns we can show happening in the lab via arcs/machining (craters, crater chains, pits scoops and gouges, channeling, spherule formation) or triboelectric charging (again channeling and cratering persistent even WITHIN the flow, razorbacks along the sides of the flow channel)...
