How deos 3145 mpg sound?
SAE held it's 2006 SuperMileage competition in June, and a team from UBC in Vancouver came out the winners, with a gasoline powered vehicle that attained 3145 mpg, almost double that of the nearest competitor.
Jingoistic side note - 4 of the top 5 teams were from Canada.
