If you have a nation that for the past 25 years has used torture, murder of dissidents, mass execution to control its population and you suddenly FREE that nation - what will happen?

The good guys, families, businessmen, entrepreneurs and such leave the country.

What happens when hundreds of thousands of those savvy folks leave for a better life? Quite simple - you have left the least educated, most religiously fanatical and most violent folks remaining.

What happens to a neighborhood in the US when all the good folks pack up and leave it? It becomes a ghetto. A place where crime and violence breed in far greater quantity than other areas.

There are roughly a million folks who now have taken the opportunity to leave and enjoy their freedom. The folks left are now preying on eachother just as they do in our inner city ghettos.

It's normal.

The same thing happens to these boards when the leftists take over - it becomes a wasteland of whine/complaint and fear/paranoia/hate. It does its best to imitate DKOS or DU - places which have taken the art of whining/complaining/hating to the maximum expression.

I don't envy dictator-lovers are setting up for yourselves. You provide us with our daily whine and snivel about how tough your lives have been living under George Bush the Merciless and then have the gall to tell Iraqis they were better off left under Saddam who had "control!" I think the Iraqis will gladly trade with you - you can have Saddam and they'll take that evil monster ol' Bush off your hands for you.
