Windows XP Home Edition problem
I have about 15 things running on the extreme bottom right of the screen, small icons most of which I don't need. I really don't know if that's a "start menu" or "taskbar". I suspect the "Start Menu" is displayed when "Start" is clicked, and the "taskbar" is the opened programs, so I don't know exactly what those icons are called.
At any rate, there is a bunch of them. I suspect they are taking up memory, yet I can't figure out how to stop them from opening every time I start the computer.
Any suggestions short of "white out" would be appreciated.
