OK! With all the fuss about the IAU demoting Pluto from planet
to something less.
I have a proposal for another branch of science that would
be fitting: Demoting all volcanoes on Earth, smaller than the big island of Hawaii,
to...GEYSERS!
Let the EGU designate and demote all those puny lava pukers and ash spitters to become "Geysers", not Volcanoes.

And what about what are commonly called "Geysers"?
Demote them to "steamers" or "hot water spitters"; anything but Geysers.

And make it legal and formal, too! Have the UN General Assembly and World Court
put their authoritative stamp on such a decision.
Any violations will be dealt with harshly.
