It's "go" for tomorrow's private/small business UP AEROSPACE launch.
UP AEROSPACE is saying that they will launch
their first suborbital rocket from the New Mexico
SpacePort launch-site. intending to send
an inexpensive payload upto 100 km and higher, tomorrow.
This is no McDonnell-Douglas, Boeing, NASA
or Pentagon launch!
It's on a shoestring budget, by a small private company.
How refreshing!
First their was Mr. Rutan with the private suborbital
manned spaceflights to win the X-Prize.
Then Mr. Bigelow's launch this past July.
And now this!
I hope it leaves the bad taste in the mouth left behind
by the ever delaying Trailblazer 'lunar orbiter',
and the infamous "where's my money" Encounter-2001 project.
Yuck.
Cheers.
Jacob
