Boy, I was surprised at how many went on the attack against Leary. Finally, one guy really nailed what made the thing funny - the irony that the guy they were kidding about suddenly made two wonderfully athletic plays and they all immediately saw the humor in it and went off.

Leary's like a modern day Lenny Bruce. He's enough of a man of the street to be able to get away with some very crass and biting humor and commentary. It's hard-hitting art at its finest.
