First MRO HiRISE image from Science Orbit
Just a crop from one part of the first science orbit HiRISE image.
29.7 cm/pixel, part of Ius Chasma. If you want to have a sense of scale or proportion - that image footprint is only 600 x 400 metres - Victoria Crater would not fit into that image at that resolution.
Approx 70 or so observations expected in the next week before HiRISE is turned off for Solar Conjunction.
