Old TECH vs. New TECH
Merely seeing the Enterprise hanging in the NASM in the mid-70's was enough of an emotion to make me spend the off hours kit-bashing models, to this day, got the kids and relitives interested in building model planes, cars, etc. . How can you not replace a v-8 chevy in a '70 malibu when as a youngster you fit that 396 many times in the engine bay? Good teachers, models kits, but you'll never get the hands on tactile learing from a computer screen as if you handled a scale model part.
