The global warming brown shirts pop up everywhere these days. Arguing with them is pointless as they don't comprehend when one explains that we have not the ability to measure solar variability in a comprehensive manner and what we can measure points to an increase in solar output - creating significant warming not caused by man.

Pointing the finger and mouthing off at America and the rich, is much easier than mouthing off to the sun. And when one sees the desired goal of shifting factories to the 3rd world where 'pollution credits' will be available, one quickly sees the cash motive for all the foam and hysteria.

Sadly, its the naive ones, with good intentions, that get caught up in the 'hurry we must save the world' mentality that one feels sorry for.
