I see Flame not just as a place to say "You're a complete #$%^#& waste of Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Phosphorous and other trace elements. The energy used to put those molecules together would have been better served in creating slime molds at the lower levels of the Marianas trench" as also a place for mild ironic or sarcastic jabs at participants, as was the case here.
