There were several tight rows of red LEDs that jumped up and down on one of the panels of the "Whopper" computer in the movie Wargames. They were acutally part of a graphic equalizer made by a company called Audio Control. I did some piece work for the company and everyone was excited to see their product used in a Hollywood feature.
