National Geographic this month
November, that is.
I liked the story about the debutante balls in Laredo. National Geographic excels at showing me cultural things I'd never heard of before.
But best of all was the article "From Fins To Wings," one of the best layouts of how evolution works I've ever seen. The online article is missing many great illustrations that were in the magazine. It's all there, it fits, and it makes perfect sense, even the evolution of the eye.
