Now, now...
While most other recognised craters are located within hard rocks, this possible impact crater has special significance as it is located within an extremely low-lying flat terrain comprising unconsolidated soft sediments, and its appearance is unconventional and deceptive
Whilst this *possible* crater is certainly ancient by human standards, it is not at all ancient geologically. EP is entirely correct to post this link, and we as readers are welcome to draw our own conclusions about the quality of the science, bearing in mind that this is an early stage of the scientific investigation.
It is entirely possible that future work may prove or disprove this as an impact feature, and sharpen the age estimate.
