Here are some policies that would really help them get elected.

1. National Health Service, just like all the other civilized countries, to be paid for from item #2 below.

2. Fold Social Security & Self-Employment taxes in with the regular income tax by eliminating the ceiling on contributions and making deductions & examptions applicable. This will shift the tax burden away from the poor and onto the rich.

3. Depletion taxes on non-renewable fuels, but excluding renewable fuels. This would instantly jump-start the alternative energy industry.

Above are three programs that are right up the Democrats' alley but have been totally ignored. Why?

1. The Democrats are in the pockets of the health insurers who nixed the plan that Hillary Clinton was supposed to prepare but never did. They will never support a national health service for the USA.

2. The Democrats are in the pockets of the rich, upper class, who will never agree for shifting tax burdens on them, but will insist on screwing the lower and middle classes. Hence, the Democrats will never support rational tax reform.

3. The Democrats are in the pockets of the oil companies and will never do anything to support alternative energy. Remember when Jimmy Stupid promised the USA energy independence 30 years ago and did absolutely nothing to bring it about?

In other words, the Democartic Party is as phoney as a three-dollar bill.

PS: I wholeheartedly support all three of the above plans. Therefore, kindly refrain from calling me a conservative.
