Klipr has not been cancelled
It's merely had its development stretched out to fit the budget and operational needs.
Its avionics and life support systems are being developed with the Soyuz, including a lunar variant Soyuz. The step after that will be porting those new systems to the Klipper, and it will be done in the out years.
