Junior ROTC and the school board

Unfortunately the author emphasizes on emotion of the students instead of the comments and results from the principal and teachers. Radio still has its advantages.
The principal, teachers, students and parents support the Jr. ROTC at the school and wish for it to continue but the school board members want to eliminate the program even though they admit it is good and has helped the students as described by the principal.
Who’s real interest are the school board members for?
