in New York and points NE for a good while. I never understood it. It just doesn't look deliberate. The first time I saw it back in the 90s it was 2 New Yorkers that I assumed had had a big night and didn't have time to shave. The next day it was the same and I realized it was a very silly fashion statement.

I have noticed some of the Hollywood wanabees sporting slick back mob style. The spikes have been around for a long time for rockers but now it seems fashionable to look like your hair hasn't been combed in a week or so. They pay big bucks for those hair cuts.

I'll just keep clipping mine to a clean 1/8th inch about once a month.
