re: Flying in the future
It's a beautiful design isn't it .. notice how clumsy, even ugly, the conventional planes look by comparison. Their irregular surfaces also cause the extra turbulence .. imagine how inefficient they must be compared to this one.
Though it will probably never exist in reality - it's just a concept plane and the Boeing guy said that companies usually pick and choose individual features from these concepts, rather than going for the whole new thing. - Sad, but understandable from the manufacturer's POV.
