No one's 'supposed' to anything.
However, for me it is enlightening to see how divided these folks are and how utterly incapable of consensus. The fact that the Senate minority leader even deals with these folks is a national embarassment.
But pandering to the stuff you scrape off your shoe has been a modus operandi for the past 50 years.
