Agree except partially on last item. Don't think it will get as nasty as on Clinton. I think the investigations will be where obviously popular, intended to humiliate Bush/Republicans and build Democratic momentum for 2008, but not witch hunts which risk backfiring on moderate Democrats needed to maintain control.

Well I can always hope anyway.
