I think you'll find that the Foley incident has served its purpose.
The Democrats aren't going to be any more interested in investigating it than anyone else. In fact, I'll predict that any investigations of congressional malfeasance, which might spatter a bit further than Democrats would like, are going to be sidelined in favor of investigations solely directed at the executive branch. We'll see.
