And somehow I missed the Rule of Existence that said a veteran can't be an idiot, or that service in a war, however exemplary, somehow makes you a brilliant tactician or strategist. If that were true, generals would be a lot easier to come by.

Where the hell were all of you when a "military-loathing" draft-dodger was running against that same Bush Sr. or Bob Dole?
