I have to admit to being a TV junkie. Always have been. Can’t help myself. My Tivo makes it even worse, because now I can watch 2 shows that are on at the same time. I even have the old VCR set if there’s a 3d show on when the 2 Tivo tuners are occupied. That being said there is a lot of junk on TV, but there is also some great stuff too. Someone once said 90% of everything it crap. It’s the other 10% that makes it worth wading through a lot of the crap. You are missing out on some great shows if you cut off everything just because you don’t want to wade through the crap,,, and GW. Discovery channel, the learning channel, Animal planet, History channel, PBS NOVA all have great science programs if your patient enough to look for it. I can even have my Tivo look for categories of shows with key words like Space, or Astronomy etc. I guess it’s good I can’t get Discovery First Flight, or the Science Channel, or I would have even more stuff to watch. Alas, I guess I am a total TV addict. K
