SORCE is the only probe we have had that covers most of the solar bands - nothing else has even come close. All the solar data before came from a dozen tracking stations with limited bandwidth - a WAG technique that measures a thimble from the ocean.

SORCE has only been up since 2003. All other solar data is laughable because it measured the tiniest portion of the solar spectrum bombarding Earth nonstop.

When one understands the ozone regenerative process as caused by UV rays breaking up O3 to form O and O2 and then how O rejoins up again with O2, and one also understands how NO2 is broken down again into NO and O by this same sunlight - at this point one is smart enough to understand that the ozone holes are cyclic phenomenon - generated by solar interaction with our atmosphere and are perfectly normal in all shapes and sizes

Unfortunately, for the scientific illiterates who wouldn't know NO from a protest sign - these facts are completely beyond them and they become hysterical - perfect puppets for scientific folks with a political agenda who want to shift the factories to the 3rd world and make America rely on other nations for the productions of goods. HINT: When wartime and GNP accounting time comes the nations with the most factories win.
