Of course, there are more options than this, too. This "review" of options is obviously designed to enable Bush to "stay the course" while appearing to be open-minded. This one is sort of "win", "bleed to death", or "surrender, quit, destroy America's credibility while giving up any hope of a positive legacy for GWB".

"The Pentagon's closely guarded review of how to improve the situation in Iraq has outlined three basic options: Send in more troops, shrink the force but stay longer, or pull out, according to senior defense officials.
