So I'm curious now. In the past, our more conservative compatriots supported the so called "Nuclear Option" of destroying the concept of legislative filabusters when the Republicans held power arguing that the Democrat's threats of its use during confirmation hearings was tantamount to denying a Constitutionally mandated vote.

Now that the Dems hold the lead in Congress, I'm wondering what the prevailing opinion regarding this issue is. Logic would have it that, if it was a bad idea to allow filabusters from the Democratic minority then, it should be used to stop the Republicans from using this despicable tactic in the upcoming legislature.

I think I can hear the heads popping now.
