As usual, here's a bit more behind the scenes for those who want to know more than soundbyte news.
We will today examine how some corporations wage war against competitors.
"African Oil Feeding Frenzy"
This leads to these attacks in Niger
To put these in context so that it has meaning we need even more information than Reuters gives us.
We need to know who are the biggest producers in Niger:
1. Royal Dutch Shell (UK & Dutch)
2. Chevron (USA)
3. Exxon Mobil (USA)
4. Agip (Italian)
and lastly
5. TotalFinaElf (French)
Now look at the list from Reuters at those attacks and the companies attacked by the 'natives'.
Who were all attacked: Saipem (Italian), Royal Dutch Shell (UK & Dutch), Exxon Mobil (USA).
Amazingly TotalFinaElf was spared from kidnappings/attacks.
Now let's take a look at the Nigerian population. Could by any chance there be some Muslims living there?
The handy agency factbook says yes. 50% Muslim 40% Christian and 10% indigenous beliefs.
Hmmm.
Amazing.
Wherever the US and other nations work oil fields in Africa, somehow the workers and tribes supporting the US and other nations just seem to get attacked by Muslims? We see this now in Chad as Sudan's Islamofascists spread genocide outside Sudan to neighboring nations and their indigenous black natives.
And France vetoes sanctions against these Muslim folks who perform genocide on whole tribes & races.
How come the media can't put the big picture on the table for the masses very clearly?
Now if Muslims can be manipulated to do French bidding in oil producing nations in Africa...what other oil producing nations might they be able to exert an influence over?
As Bowser might say:
"Arf. Go figure."
More curtain lifting
