The somewhere in between is
That your particular genetic details depend upon your parentage, not your race. IE- the probabilities for cetain broad traits are best determined by looking at parentage, and looking at race actually provides little correlation ouside of a few trivial things (markers and genetic diseases)- which themselves are more correlated with population and less correlated with 'race'. The idea that certain broad genetically expressed qualities exist in some race and not in others is entirely unsubstantiated, and even impossible in that human 'races' are not proper subspecies, or even remotely close.
Anyway, more next week. I'm going to go gnaw on some more turkey.
