The left side of the aisle has its fair share of mentally aberrated folks who need to point the fingers at others for the misery in their lives. And the power of this obsession over them is often mixed with alcohol and/or drugs.
Eventually they lose themselves in the miasma of hate they empower and it literally kills them. One sees, even here at the Zone, that regardless of the outcome of the election - the hate always remains. They need the hate as an escape mechanism. If George Bush and Cheney were impeached and Pelosi were President the hate would still remain. Hate, as an escape mechanism, is the key.
Without someone to blame they have to wake up to the fact that their lives are miserable because of their own actions, decisions and hate. And that is the hardest thing for them to accept.
If the USA weren't in Iraq, it would be Afghanistan and if not Afghanistan it would be global warming, the treatment of animals or AIDS. There would always be something to protest and something to hate.
Kids do this all the time. It is caused by emotional immaturity.
The secret is not to hate or ridicule those so ensnared - or one risks being their mirror image.

One has to have some compassion, Lee.
