I checked out the bios of the board members. They consist of:
A White House staffer (Mark. A. Robbins)
A former mid-level member of the Bush Regime (Francis X. Taylor); formerly State Dept. Ambassador-at-Large for Counterterrorism, currently working for GE.
Another former mid-level member of the Bush Regime (Theodore B. Olsen); former Solictor General, now at a Washington law firm.
A token Democrat (Lanny J. Davis); now at a Washington law firm.
The vice chairman is a former Reagan and Bush I staffer (Alan Charles Raul); now at a Washington law firm.
The chairwoman is a former Reagan staffer and Texas Gov. Bush appointee (Carol E. Dinkins); now at a Washington law firm.
It's pretty clear that the so-called "Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board" is the captive of the White House and the K Street Project. All but one of them's a lobbyist...so who are they lobbying for?
Looks like another Potemkin village.
