How much influence money has bought how much influence in congress and exec to directly oppose the idea that man might have a significant effect on the global climate?

Compared to how much cash has paid for the promotion of the idea? (Might be an alt energy company mentioned it? Doubt any lobbyist had the 'nads to speak to members of the republic party about it in the last 12 years though.)

I'm also interested in knowing exactly how much Exxon has spent in pursuit of this goal.
