So here we are over 2,900 lives and $400 billion later and we are just now admitting failure. Of course, anyone with half a brain could see this coming in early 2003 as the overhyped right wing hot talk radio propaganda for war kicked into full gear.

The bottom line is that this nation is being run by a gaggle of idiots who are supported by an even larger gaggle of idiots - some of whom post here. The conservative, right-wing philosophy of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly has been proven to be an utter failure, even as these jerks get more shrill about their support for GWB.

Conservative ideology is a false and failed premise, built upon naive assumptions about how the world and people work. Conservatives have taken this nation to the dumps and ruined the promise of our American heritage. Conservatives threaten our civil rights at the same time they are bankrupting our nation and our communities. They have made this world a worse and more dangerous place to live in.

They've had turn at unchallenged political power for over six years. They have failed to produce a better world. Its time we spurned their cheap thinking and simple-minded "solutions" and return this nation to place of intelligence and smart action. Hopefully the lessons of the Baker report will remind us not to be seduced by easy-living mythology of the conservatives ever again.
